JWGs involving ISRO, officials of various Ministries to be set up to chalk out roadmap to enhance use of space tech

Chennai, March 21 -- Joint Working Groups (JWGs) will be established comprising representatives from various Ministries and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to develop roadmap on enhancing use of space technology.

A decision to this effect was taken at an interactive meetings ISRO Chairman, and Secretary, Department of Space Dr. V. Narayanan, had with Secretaries from key Ministries on leveraging space technology in water resources, agriculture, and urban and rural development.

The JWGs would comprise senior officials from the respective Ministry and ISRO.
