Madurai, Dec. 5 -- Perhaps for the first time in their life time, teams taking part in theMadurai leg of the ongoing Hockey Men's Junior World Cup, today witnessed Tamil Nadu'sfamed traditional sport--Jallikattu (taming of Bulls)--at the Kalaignar Centenary Jallikattuarena.
A special and exclusive Jallikattu event was organised to enable the international players tohave a glimpse of the popular rural sport.
Teams including Canada, Namibia, Egypt, Austria, China, Bangladesh, Korea, Oman,and tournament officials arrived through the morning for the special visit, experiencingSouth India's most cherished and indigenous sporting traditions first hand.
