New Delhi, April 2 -- "Judgeship is not just a career. It is a responsibility that demands impartiality, fairness, and integrity," Delhi High Court Judge Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani has said.
Making these significant comments at a programme here, the senior judicial luminary said, "A judge should have no past and no future. There should be no past that people can fault."
Justice Bhambhani was speaking at the 5th Justice J S Verma Memorial ADR & Client Counselling Competition & NAVITAS - Law Fest 2025, according to a press statement issued by the organisers.
He also highlighted the challenges of litigation, calling it a necessary evil that often does not lead to a peaceful resolution of disputes.
