Bhubaneswar, Dec. 4 -- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed the Odisha Assembly on Thursday that the Joint Technical Committees (JTC) of Odisha and Chhattisgarh will meet again on Friday in an effort to resolve the ongoing Mahanadi water dispute.
Responding to a question from Dushmanta Kumar Swain (BJP) and supplementary questions from other members, Mahaling-speaking on behalf of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, said that this JTC meeting follows several rounds of discussions held over the past four months.
He noted that the two states have already conducted six JTC meetings so far.
