Ranchi, March 20 -- The Jharkhand State Faculty Development Academy (JSFDA) on Friday organised its first annual conclave in Ranchi, bringing together academicians, policymakers and university administrators to deliberate on reforms in higher education.

The conclave, held at a city hotel, was attended by vice-chancellors of central, state and private universities, along with subject experts.

Addressing the inaugural session, Higher Education Department Director and JSFDA co-executive director Sudhir Bara stressed the need for strengthening institutional capacity, while Principal Secretary and JSFDA chairman Rahul Kumar Purwar emphasised improving quality and governance in higher education.
