Srinagar, Oct. 30 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today passed three important bills aimed at strengthening governance, labour regulations, and cooperative frameworks in the union Territory.

The House cleared by voice vote the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2025, moved by Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar.

The second legislaton passed by the Assembly was the Jammu and Kashmir Shops and Establishments (Licensing, Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Bill, 2025, moved by Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary.
