Chennai, Nov. 29 -- JIPMER in Puducherry on Saturday inaugurated a dedicated Annadhanam Centre to provide wholesome mealsto outpatients and patients' attenders.

It was formally inaugurated by Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, in the presence of Speaker of the Terriotorial Assembly Speaker R. Selvam, Rajya Sabha MP Selvaganapathy and JIPMER Director Dr. Vir Singh Negi.

As part of this initiative, three free meals a day will be served at two key locations within the institute--the Old OPD Block and the Women and Children Block--benefiting hundreds of outpatients and the attenders who accompany them, a PIB release said.
