Ranchi, Nov. 18 -- Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi on Tuesday levelled serious allegations against the Hemant Soren-led state government, accusing it of financial mismanagement, lack of vision and administrative negligence.

In a statement shared through his social media account, Marandi said the state is facing a "deep economic crisis" due to the government's "poor financial planning and shortsightedness", and claimed that no roadmap has been prepared to overcome the situation.

Marandi alleged that payments to contractors and service providers across various government departments have been pending for nearly one and a half years, severely affecting thousands of workers and pushing many contractors into financial distress.
