Bokaro, Feb. 10 -- Authorities here demolished an alleged illegal structure built on land belonging to the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in the Sector 6 police station area on Tuesday.
The demolition was carried out jointly by the BSL management and district administration amid heavy police deployment to maintain law and order.
According to police sources, the structure was reportedly constructed by Vinod Kumar alias Vinod Khopdi, a mayoral candidate from Chas who is currently lodged in jail as the main accused in the Jayant Singh murder case.
