Ranchi, Nov. 25 -- Winter has begun to tighten its grip across state as the weather continues to shift rapidly, bringing colder temperatures and dense fog in several districts.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi, has forecast that the cold conditions will intensify further in the coming days, with fog expected to blanket most parts of the state during early mornings from November 24 to 30. Reduced visibility is likely to hamper road and air traffic during this period.
According to the IMD, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 24.6degC and a minimum of 12.6degC, while Chatra experienced a sharp dip with the minimum temperature touching 10degC.
