Ranchi, Feb. 20 -- The Jharkhand High Court has granted interim relief to candidates who challenged the age limit criteria for the Combined Civil Services Examination 2025 (14th JPSC) conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC).

Hearing a batch of petitions, Justice Anand Sen directed the Commission to allow candidates who have approached the High Court to submit their application forms offline.

The dispute arose after JPSC, through an advertisement fixed August 1, 2026 as the cut-off date for calculating the upper age limit. The petitioners contended that due to irregularities and delays in conducting examinations, several eligible aspirants had crossed the age limit without getting an opportunity to appear in the exam. ...
