Ranchi, Aug. 14 -- The BJP today accused Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari of deliberately delaying key procurement files for the state's largest hospital, RIMS, and called for his removal, alleging corruption and negligence.
Party spokesperson Ajay Sah, citing an affidavit filed by the RIMS director in the Jharkhand High Court, said the minister kept the file for ICU bed procurement for the trauma centre pending for 150 days, a file for advanced children's CPR equipment for 60 days, a neonatal ventilator file for 43
days, and even delayed the fire-fighting system file by 50 days after the MGM Hospital fire incident.
