Ranchi, Feb. 27 -- Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu on Friday said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the Centre were responsible for the Chatra air ambulance crash, as aviation regulation falls under their jurisdiction.
Reacting to statements made by Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, the minister said BJP leaders were raising the issue in the absence of other political matters.
He said the subsidised air ambulance service was launched by the Chief Minister in 2023 in public interest and had benefited several patients in need of urgent medical transport.
