Ranchi, Feb. 23 -- : The Jharkhand High Court Advocates' Association has sought disciplinary action against Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan, Hatia DSP Pramod Kumar Mishra and Doranda Police Station Officer-in-Charge Deepika Prasad, alleging wilful disobedience of a judicial order related to the release of a vehicle.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Association stated that despite clear court directions, the police authorities failed to release a vehicle belonging to an advocate, amounting to contempt of court and undermining the rule of law.
