Ranchi, Dec. 19 -- Thrilling matches marked the second day of the 69th National School Girls' Football Championship (Under-14 and Under-17), being hosted by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC). The tournament witnessed strong performances by host Jharkhand, with the state's girls continuing their impressive run in both age categories.

In the Under-17 girls' category, Jharkhand registered a commanding 6-0 victory over Madhya Pradesh, showcasing dominance and superior teamwork. Several other matches were also played, with two encounters ending in draws, reflecting closely fought contests among participating teams.
