Ranchi, April 23 -- The Centre on Thursday said the supply of petroleum products and LPG in Jharkhand remains normal, with adequate stock available across the state.

At a joint press briefing held at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited divisional office in Namkum, officials from oil marketing companies said the supply situation was fully under control.

Dr Pradeep Paul, Jharkhand-level coordinator of petroleum companies, said petrol, diesel and LPG supplies were stable due to strong infrastructure, continuous monitoring and coordination mechanisms.

Officials said the state has 2,084 retail outlets and five supply depots. On an average, 1,750 KL petrol and 3,450 KL diesel are supplied daily, with around 12 days of stock available for both f...
