Ranchi, Feb. 5 -- The Jharkhand Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on Thursday approved 27 important proposals understood to be linked to administrative arrangements, development initiatives and key policy matters, which the government considers significant for the state's overall progress.
However, in view of the ongoing urban local body elections and the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct, no official press briefing was held to share details of the cabinet decisions.
The government clarified that under the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct, public disclosure of the decisions taken by the Cabinet is not permissible at this stage.
