Ranchi, April 26 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday criticised Jharkhand health minister Irfan Ansari over his recent remarks, terming them inappropriate for a constitutional position.
State BJP spokesperson Rafia Naz said the minister's statement reflected a departure from his responsibilities and raised concerns over the language used.
She said, "A health minister's duty is to protect lives and strengthen the healthcare system, not use such expressions."Naz alleged that the remarks were against democratic norms and questioned the minister's conduct in public office.
