Ranchi, Feb. 26 -- During the Assembly proceedings, Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap raised concerns over the alleged diversion of Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) funds and sought clarification from the government on whether the state was allocating TSP funds from its own budget.
He questioned why cases of fund diversion were not being treated with due seriousness and demanded accountability for any irregularities.
Replying to the issue, Minister Chamra Linda stated that TSP funds are allocated to the state by the Centre based on the proportion of the tribal population.
He acknowledged that no clear guidelines have been framed so far in the state regarding the diversion or utilization of TSP funds.
