Ranchi, Jan. 20 -- The Health department has launched a mission-mode campaign with comprehensive preparations for the Mass Drug Administration (MDA) programme scheduled to begin on February 10, 2026.
From February 10, the MDA programme will be conducted in 14 districts Bokaro, Deoghar, Dhanbad, East Singhbhum, Garhwa, Giridih, Gumla, Koderma, Lohardaga, Pakur, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Sahibganj and Simdega.
The programme will cover 87 identified blocks and 14,496 villages, targeting approximately 1.75 crore people. Anti-filarial drugs will be administered under the supervision of trained health personnel.
