Kanpur, Dec. 20 -- A 45-year-old jeweller allegedly killed his younger son and seriously injured his elder son before taking his own life at their home in Hashimpur village of the Araul area, police said on Friday.
According to officials, the man, identified as Ajay Katiyar, lived with his two sons, Shubh (7) and Rudra (12).
Police said he attacked both children inside the house, resulting in the death of the younger child, while the elder sustained critical injuries and is undergoing treatment at Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital.
