Patna, April 8 -- Celebrated poet, lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar has announced his return to screenwriting after a long hiatus, informing that he has completed scripts for two films that may soon go into production.
Akhtar shared this update while addressing the closing session of a literary festival in Patna, where he also spoke about his latest book, "Seepiyan". The work reflects his deep engagement with India's classical poetic traditions, offering simple and accessible interpretations of couplets by poets such as Kabir, Tulsidas, Rahim, and Vrind.
