Tokyo, Jan. 23 -- Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's cabinet on Friday adopted a decision to dissolve the House of Representatives.
Later in the afternoon, the lower house will formally disband at the outset of this year's ordinary parliamentary session.
