Jammu, Aug. 11 -- The Pakistani national injured today in the firing by the alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) while he was infiltrating along the International Border in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir has succumbed during the treatment, said a BSF spokesman.
The spokesman said that on Monday evening, BSF troops observed a suspicious movement wherein a Pakistani national was observed crossing the international border (IB) and approaching aggressively towards the border fence in district Kathua, Jammu.
He was warned by alert troops but paid no heed, he said, adding, "BSF troops sensing a threat fired on him."
