Jammu, Jan. 31 -- The Border Road Organisation (BRO) has restored the vital Kishtwar-Sansari Road connectivity in a record time in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Defence spokesman said on Saturday that the 118 Road Construction Company (RCC) of 35 Border Road Task Force (BRTF), Project Sampark, of BRO has successfully restored road connectivity along the 112 km Kishtwar-Sansari stretch, including the road at 8,759 feet, reconnecting the Chenab Valley in Jammu and Kashmir with Himachal Pradesh.
He said that on January 22-23, the army acted swiftly amid heavy snowfall, but on January 25, fresh snowfall disrupted the connectivity again. On January 26, BRO teams cleared 2.5 feet of snow, restoring access up to Sansari, and on Jan...
