Srinagar, March 4 -- J&K Police has registered cases against sitting Member Parliament from Srinagar Ruhullah Mehdi and former Srinagar Mayor Junaid Mattu for allegedly sharing content online with the intent to create fear, disturb public order and incite unlawful activities.
Police said on Tuesday that acting on credible inputs regarding the circulation of false, fabricated and misleading content across digital and social media platforms with the intent to create fear, disturb public order, and incite unlawful activities, cases were registered against Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi and Junaid Azim Mattu in connection with the matter.
