Jammu, Nov. 21 -- In view of the prevailing security scenario, Jammu and Kashmir Police today conducted a thorough search of lockers at Government Medical College (GMC) Doda and Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah.
Acting on the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, the operation was carried out and during the exercise, personal lockers of doctors and other designated staff areas were inspected meticulously.
"Medical staff was categorically instructed not to store or keep any unlawful or prohibited material in their lockers or anywhere within the hospital premises," said an official.
However, he said that nothing incriminating or suspicious was found during the search.
