Jammu, June 13 -- Coming tough on unauthorised SIM card distribution, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday conducted inspection of vendors across Doda district.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda, Sandeep Mehta here said that in a proactive initiative to enhance security and tackle issues related to unauthorized SIM card distribution, a comprehensive inspection drive was conducted targeting SIM card vendor outlets across the district.
"The initiative aims to strengthen the verification process for new SIM registrations to curb the misuse of mobile connectivity," said the top cop.
