Srinagar, March 9 -- Police have attached a four-storey shopping complex and land of a notorious drug peddler under the NDPS Act in Jammu Kashmir's Budgam district.
Police in a statement on Sunday said that in a decisive step towards eliminating the drug menace, Police in Budgam have attached the immovable property of a known drug peddler in Nadigam village of Soibugh area under Tehsil Narbal.
The attached property, a four-storey shopping complex comprising around 40 shops at village Nadigam and around six canals of land situated at village Chek Wazir Panoo belongs to Ghulam Ahmad Dar Aka Gulsaka resident of Nadigam. The market value of the property is said to be around Rs 3.5 crore.
