Jammu, Aug. 5 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police today attached property worth Rs 70 lakhs of a drug peddler in Udhampur district.
The police spokesman here said that in a major action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Police has attached and seized moveable and immoveable property of a drug peddler Sanjay Kumar of Kah Phalata, valued around Rs 70 lakhs under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.
A case under relevant section has been registered under sections at Police Station Rehambal.
The frozen properties included a residential house, car, two autos and two scooties.
The attachment order was issued by the investigating officer as part of ongoing proceedings under the NDPS Act, said the spokesman.
