Srinagar, June 29 -- J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today asked families of terror victims eligible for government jobs to submit their cases to the respective Deputy Commissioners, assuring them of fast-tracked appointments within a month.
Sinha met the family members of Kashmiri Civilians killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists in the last three decades during the day.
A government spokesman termed it a "historic step" to finally recognise and honour the thousands of innocent civilians in Kashmir who were brutally killed by Pakistani terrorists.
The LG bowed to the family members and paid tributes to the common Kashmiri citizens who fell victim to the bullets of Pakistani terrorists.
