Jammu, Feb. 1 -- The 23-day Legislative Assembly session of the union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will begin here from tomorrow with the Lieutenant Governor's Address to the House, followed by a multi-day discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the LG's Address and the government's reply.
The Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will commence with the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah-led government presenting its budget in the House on February 6.
Abdullah also holds the portfolio of the Finance Department.
The fifth session of the Assembly, spread over a three-month period (in phases), will begin with an address by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on February 2.
