Jammu, Jan. 31 -- Jammu and Kashmir team of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu have arrested two inter-state drug smugglers with contraband of 8.47 kgs of Charas (cannabis).

Officials said that during the operation, acting on tip off, a team of ANTF intercepted the suspects following sustained surveillance and credible intelligence regarding drug trafficking activity.

The accused have been identified as Gurmeet Singh and his associate Parvinder Kour, both residents of Miran Saheb, Ranbir Singh Pura, District Jammu.

They said that the consignment was recovered from a car they were travelling in, from Kashmir outside the union Territory, and informed that, "the vehicle was intercepted at Environmental Park on Sidhra Narwal Bye Pass."A ...
