Jammu, April 6 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau, on Monday registered a case against Junior Assistant posted at Social Welfare Department, Billawar in District Kathua, for demanding and accepting illegal gratification from a complainant.
As per the official release, the accused demanded a bribe amounting to Rs 10,000 from the complainant, for releasing of assistance under State Marriage Assistance Scheme for the marriage of his daughter, whose marriage is fixed on April 16.
