Srinagar, May 2 -- Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu & Kashmir President Ravinder Raina on Thursday demanded adequate relief to the flood affected families in frontier district of Kupwara.
The recent incessant rains led to flash floods in Kupwara causing extensive damage to public and private property in several areas of the district.
Raina visited the flood ravaged Kupwara district today to assess the situation.
"I urge the LG administration to provide adequate relief to these poor people who have been affected with the devastating floods and suffered heavy losses", the BJP JK President said and added " I am meeting the LG administration for the relief to these affected people of Kupwara district".
