Chennai, Jan. 20 -- After hearing day long arguments on an appeal filed by the Central Board of FilmCertification (CBFC) against the Single Judge Order directig it to grant U/A certification for actor-politicianand TVK Founder Vijay's swansong film 'Jana Nayagan', the Madras High Court today reserved its orders.
The First Bench comprising Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and Justice G Arun Murugan afterhearing detailed and marathon arguments by Additional Solicitor General ARL Sundaresan for the CBFCand senior counsel Satish Parasaran, assisted by Vijayan Subramanian, for KVN Productions LLP, rejectedthe filmmaker's request and said it could not pass orders today itself, before reserving its orders without fixingany date.
