Jammu, Nov. 20 -- In a significant crackdown, Jammu Police have attached movable property worth lakhs belonging to an alleged drug peddler under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
A police spokesperson said the attached property belonging to the accused identified as Vishal Kumar of Boot Polish Mohalla, Rajiv Nagar, Narwal,is linked to multiple drug-peddling cases. The attachment was carried out by the Investigating Officer in strict accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act.
The order was issued as part of ongoing proceedings under the Act, the spokesperson added.
