New Delhi, Oct. 23 -- Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh launched a sharp critique at the government today, saying, "Modi proposes, Reliance disposes, Trump exposes," in reaction to news reports that Reliance Industries is cutting back its Russian crude oil imports.
According to media reports quoting a Reliance spokesperson, the company is "recalibrating" its Russian oil purchases following government guidelines.
This follows US President Donald Trump's controversial claim that India had committed to halting Russian oil imports- a statement that triggered a political storm over the government's true stance.
