Shimla, Feb. 19 -- Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur on Tuesday raised concerns over what he described as inconsistencies in the Chief Minister's statements regarding the state's borrowings and repayments, alleging that conflicting figures have been presented in the Assembly on multiple occasions.

Thakur pointed to discrepancies between data cited during discussions on February 18, 2026, a written reply tabled in August 2025, and provisions outlined in the 2025-26 Budget, claiming that the numbers did not align.
