Dharamshala, Feb. 10 -- Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur alleged that the delay in the construction of the permanent campus of Central University of Himachal Pradesh was due to the Sukhu government's failure to deposit Rs 32 crore as Floor Area Ratio (FAR) charges.

Speaking after inaugurating the Inter-Zonal Kabaddi Tournament organised by the Central University, Thakur said the university administration had shown commendable commitment despite limited resources. "Had the university received adequate support, the progress would have been far better. The biggest hurdle today is the state government," he said.
