New Delhi, March 21 -- The Indian Women's Press Corps (IWPC) on Saturday termed the police action on the premises of the United News of India (UNI) here as an affront to the dignity and safety of journalists, particularly women.
In a statement, the IWPC said while the judicial process regarding the land on which UNI stands "has taken its course leading to the recent High Court order, what has been extremely disturbing is the manner in which the police force behaved with the journalists who were present at the office".
