Washington/Jerusalem, Sept. 2 -- US President Donald Trump has called upon Israel to take swift control of the situation in Gaza, stating that while Jerusalem maybe winning the war in the field, they are losing it in 'public relations', reports Times of Israel.
The POTUS' remarks echoed a stance similar to the one he had made on 2024, during the presidential race against the now former President Joe Biden, arguing that "Israel has lost a lot of the world's support", and urging the country to wrap up its campaign.
In a Friday interview with the Daily Caller's White House Correspondent Reagan Reese, Trump said that going as far back as 15 years, Jerusalem had its strongest lobby in the American Congress.
