Jerusalem, Oct. 3 -- Israel has dismissed claims that the Global Sumud Flotilla was delivering humanitarian assistance to Gaza, saying none of the vessels intercepted on Yom Kippur carried supplies.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry on Thursday released an Israeil Police video footage on its X, featuring spokesperson Dean Elsdunne, who went on to show the empty interior of one of the largest of the flotilla's vessels.

"It was never about bringing aid to Gaza. It was about the headlines and social media followings," Elsdunne said in the video.
