Patiala, Jan. 29 -- In a fresh development regarding the alleged royalty fraud case linked to the Ishqam song, a court here has rejected the anticipatory bail application filed by one of the accused, Believe Music India CEO Vivek Raina.
Currently, the case about the alleged royalty fraud is being probed by the Patiala Police, following a complaint lodged by Navrattan Music.
An investigating officer claimed the dismissal of the anticipatory bail plea is something that strengthens the investigation.
"The allegations involve serious financial irregularities and misuse of intellectual property rights. The probe is at a crucial stage," the officer added.
