London, Aug. 18 -- Heavy metal pioneers Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson taking an aim at the current 'mobile' filming trend at concerts said that the vibe at a rock show is at its best when there are no mobile phones in sight, stating that it is "what music should be".

During the English metal titans' recent 'Run For Your Lives' tour, the band had dismissed the use of phones by fans to record the concert, instead urging them to instead "remain in the moment" and enjoy.

While the use of phones for filming was not banned, the band's manager Rod Smallwood had urged fans to keep their mobiles with them as filming "diminishes enjoyment."
