Tehran, Nov. 1 -- Iran is reportedly ramping up efforts to revive its ballistic missile programme amid the reimposition of all the previously lifted international sanctions, putting a global embargo on all arms sales to the Islamic Republic, and prohibiting any missile buildup attempts.
As per CNN, European intelligence has identified several shipments of sodium perchlorate - the key precursor used in the production of solid propellant for Iran's mid-range missiles - arriving at its Bandar Abbas port from China, ever since the previously lifted UN sanctions, as part of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), were reinstated through the snapback process due to Iranian breaches of the deal.
