Hyderabad, Jan. 30 -- The Telangana IPS Officers' Association on Friday strongly condemned what it termed as "malicious, baseless and vicious" allegations made by MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy against Gaush Alam, Commissioner of Police, Karimnagar.
In a statement issued here, the Association said that while police officers were discharging their lawful duties, the MLA had, without provocation, made false and unsubstantiated allegations against the serving IPS officer, including references to his religion and accusations of attempting religious conversions.
The Association said it was withholding the exact words used by the MLA to maintain decency and decorum.
