Mumbai, April 12 -- Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL 2026 clash at the Wankhede Stadium here on Sunday.
Opting to bowl first, Mumbai skipper Hardik Pandya said the surface looked favourable for chasing, with dew likely to play a role later in the evening.
"It's always good to bat second here. Being our home ground, dew comes in later as well, so it helps to know the target and plan accordingly," he said, adding that Mayank Markande and Mitchell Santner replaced Rahul Chahar and Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the playing XI.
