Bengaluru, March 26 -- Congress MLA Kashappanavar Vijayananda Shivashankarappa on Thursday alleged that the Karnataka State Cricket Association was involved in black marketing of tickets for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2026 matches, triggering a fresh controversy ahead of the tournament opener.
Addressing reporters in Bengaluru, the MLA claimed that legislators and ministers, who are usually entitled to complimentary tickets, were not provided passes for the high-profile matches scheduled to begin on March 28. Instead, he alleged that tickets were being sold at exorbitant prices in the black market.
