Hamirpur, Jan. 9 -- As part of a safety initiative for LPG consumers, Indian Oil Corporation conducts inspections of gas connections and appliances once every five years.
In line with this, the gas appliances of consumers registered with Hamirpur Gas Service will be inspected this month.
Harish Nanda, owner of Hamirpur Gas Service, said trained mechanics authorised by the company will visit consumers' homes to inspect gas stoves, regulators, rubber pipes, cylinders and gas cards. The mechanics will also educate consumers on the safe use of LPG.
